About Us 
1st Communion Information
Here at Faith Lutheran, we invite students 3rd, 4th, 5th grade and older along with their parent(s) to attend a First Communion Workshop. By participating in the life of our church family, you are growing to know and feel the love of God. First Communion Workshop is offered once in October each year.Through baptism, you were made a child of God, made part of God's family. And now we would like to invite you to prepare to receive a sacrament of God's grace - Holy Communion.
The students journey begins before they attend the workshop. Registered students will receive a booklet of information and preparation materials to introduce them and help them understand the gift of communion. We encourage students to read the book together and discuss it with parents before coming to the workshop.
At the First Communion Workshop students and parent(s) will experience many components of the Eucharist.
