EDGE High School Youth Ministry
The High School Ministry program of Faith Lutheran Church (called “EDGE”) seeks to be a community where youth can honestly share with one another, build meaningful relationships, grow in their faith, and passionately follow Jesus Christ.
This ministry’s name is taken from Hebrews 4:12 which reads, “The word of God is living and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart.” It is our hope that youth who choose to participate will experience how God is calling them to a life of authentic and passionate discipleship.
We also try to offer a variety of activities throughout the year such as: retreats, lock-ins, service projects, sports events, concerts, ski/snowboarding trip, mission trips, and high adventure activities.

If you are an adult who is interested in being a part of our Adult Ministry Team for EDGE, we have an application and interview process to explore that possibility with you. We value committed and faithful adults who are authentic, available, and affirming.

Join us for a great day at Valleyfair! Please RSVP on the Facebook event page and turn in permission form. This event is for youth who have complete grades 8-12 Times may change.

2013 Mission Trip- Philadelphia, PA July 12-21
It is official, in summer of 2013 we will be heading to Philadelphia for the High School Mission Trip!!! We will be working with youth works and the dates will be July 12-21. The estimated cost of this trip will be $600. Fundraising opportunities will be released soon. All youth who will be entering 9th grade-graduating seniors are able to go.
Registration packets are now available in the welcome center or download and print. To register, turn in form and $100 deposit by January 16. Spots are currently full but please turn in your registration form to reserve your spot in line.
